Carolina believes that by investing in your family’s emotional well-being, you’re creating a foundation of strength, resilience, and purpose for generations to come.

Carolina’s approach to therapy is both client-centered and goal-driven. She strives to create a compassionate and non-judgmental space where children, teens, parents, and couples can reflect, heal, and grow. Carolina believes in going beyond the surface to explore not only personal wounds but also the intergenerational patterns that shape experiences. Together with her clients, she works to break harmful cycles, restore relationships, and build healthier futures.

In her sessions, Carolina utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy, with a strong emphasis on Bowen Family Systems Theory. She also holds certifications in Gottman Level 1 and Level 2 Couples Therapy, which she incorporates when working with couples and parents seeking to strengthen their relationships.

Carolina earned her BA in Marriage & Family Studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a master’s in Counseling Psychology from Cal Baptist University.

Her professional journey began with a passion for non-profits and working with youth. She started by developing programs for children and teens (ages 8-17) at a Boys & Girls Program. Later, Carolina worked as an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapist, supporting children through behavioral challenges. These experiences solidified her desire to pursue a career in mental health therapy, where she could help families heal on a deeper level.
